GSA is an engineering services corporation that has earned a leading position in the provision of fire services, fire engineering, emergency management and advanced training, as well as historically delivering first-rate facility services.

Gruppo Servizi Associati is a multi-service company operating throughout Europe. Founded in 1997, the company has its registered offices in Rome, its General Management in Udine and further offices in Bari, Naples, Cagliari, Milan, Aosta, Florence and Genoa. The company also has branches in Chamonix and Lyon, France.

GSA is a Europe-wide leader in the field of occupational health and safety and fire surveillance, specialising in every link of the Safety Chain to protect critical infrastructure, public buildings and industrial systems.

With a widespread presence across its territory and more than 4000 employees, GSA rivals the best European offering with its engineering services, its global approach and the introduction of technological innovations and patents.

The quality of the GSA production model is attested by the prestigious Elite Certificate obtained from the Italian Stock Exchange in 2016 and by Armònia Sgr becoming the majority shareholder of GSA in 2018.

The year 2019 was particularly successful for GSA. Revenues grew by +23.5% over 2018, reaching 96.2 million Euro, accompanied by a proportional increase in the company’s number of employees in Italy and France.

The Group’s growth also resulted from two important acquisitions. The first, implemented in March 2019, involved acquiring a majority stake in S.R.M.B. – Secours Routiers du Mont-Blanc SAS, a leader in the rescue and recovery of heavy-duty vehicles in extreme climate and road conditions in the mountains, and the motorway authority for the section connecting the Mont-Blanc Tunnel to Lyon, where GSA has long had its French headquarters.

The second acquisition, completed in July 2019, involved a historical Friuli-based company, giving rise to GSA Firesafe which installs and maintains fire-fighting systems, as well as safety and accident prevention services and products.

The GSA headquarters in Tavagnacco, near Udine, have been designed and built in full compliance with the latest environmental standards, ensuring complete energy self-sufficiency through a 100kWp photovoltaic plant and meeting the most advanced work organisation requirements. The headquarters also feature essential services for boosting the quality of employee performance, such as a comfortable on-site restaurant, a gym and large common areas.
